I'm in a bit of an artistic dilemma: I feel the desire to do some new things for dA, but looking at my gallery and listening to my gut feeling, what I do best involved pictures with myself as the model.
I'm not sure why this is...maybe because the idea for the pic comes first, and it's easiest to carry the pose or whatever out myself, as opposed to explaining it to a model. Also, I have no one at my disposal who wants to model for any shots, so that limits my model-choices to...well, me.
However, the drawback is this: 1) I don't like the way I look in photographs, and 2) it feels terribly, terribly narcissistic to have so many self portraits in my gallery....the fact that I'd prefer someone else to be in them doesn't change that.
So....what do I do? Do I do pictures of other things, limiting my art, or do I continue to do self portraits of myself, which I hate, but feel are artistically better than pics of...flowers or cars or whatever?
Any input?

Anywho:
